Anomet clad-metal products are manufactured using various heat, pressure and reduction metalworking techniques. These can range from co-extrusion, heat treatment, drawing, swaging and other hot and cold working processes. 
 
The result is the joining of two or more metals or alloys producing a complete metallurgical bond. Anomet Products utilizes a wide variety of advanced metalworking techniques to manufacture the perfect clad-metal composite.  These metalworking capabilities range from co-extrusion, heat treatment, swaging, drawing, etching, and other hot and cold worked processes. Combined with over 35 years of clad-metal experience, the result is the joining of two or more metals or alloys producing a complete metallurgical bond. Anomet's clad metals offer the opportunity to combine desirable properties and/or characteristics of individual metals and alloys into one material "system" that provides improved characteristics over the individual metals.
 
Below is a cross-sectional rendering of a typical clad metal product.  The clad metal product can take the form of a wire, ribbon, rod, bar, or plate.
 
Anomet's clad metal products can have up to five individual layers of metal or alloys. At minimum, there is a core and an outer layer. Each layer is metallurgically bonded using a unique recipe of heat, pressure and reduction. Also, each layer thickness can be optimized to meet your needs and budget.
